Villagers joined together on Friday, September 2 at Spanish Springs to raise money for local food pantries. The fundraiser brought in $48,708, the most money raised in the past ten years. In 2012, College Colors Day changed from a tailgate to celebrate the kickoff of college football season to a community-wide competitive fundraiser. This year, for the fourth year in a row, Clemson University claimed first place and raised $14,069. The event was sponsored by Publix and organized by The Villages Media Group. Thank you to everyone who came out to participate!
