Stephen Toth is a US Marine, retired Police Detective, and proud resident of The Villages.

Stephen and his wife of nearly 40 years, Gail, own a home in The Village of St. Catherine where they enjoy golf, pickleball, bike rides, long walks, and love to host their son, daughter, and grandchildren.

Born and raised in Rockland County, New York, Stephen graduated from Spring Valley High School and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He was stationed at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina and deployed overseas to Norway and Japan. Stephen attained the rank of Corporal before he was honorably discharged to pursue a career in law enforcement.

After the Marine Corps, Stephen moved to New York’s Hudson Valley, met the love of his life, started his family, and spent the better part of the next three decades serving the community of Orangeburg, New York as a Detective. He was responsible for investigating violent crimes, homicides and robberies and closed several high-profile cases during his tenure. 

In 2010, Stephen volunteered to advise the U.S. military as a Law Enforcement Professional. He was handpicked and assigned to embed with the Marines, where he provided seasoned investigative leadership and training over the next four years and three combat deployments to Afghanistan in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM.

As the U.S. wound down military operations in Afghanistan, Stephen returned home and continued to protect and serve his local community as a Police Officer for another five years. During that time, he began traveling to The Villages to golf with friends and family before ultimately buying his first home in Linden Isle in 2019. He quickly fell in love with his new community and saw a unique opportunity to combine his new-found passion for real estate with a chance to permanently relocate to the great state of Florida.
