In 2023, Bradley Bauserman was living in Boise, Idaho. He had moved from San Antonio, Texas with this wife only four years earlier. But a terminal cancer diagnosis for his wife changed everything. She fought courageously, but the cancer took her life in less than 90 days.

A U.S. Air Force Veteran and military brat, Bradley was raised to keep commitments. Duty, Honor, and Country mean something to him. He fulfilled his relocation contract at work and focused on job responsibilities. He spent his evenings contemplating the next chapter of life. One day, a friend told Bradley about a move she was making to The Villages. He looked at the brochure and noticed the Lifestyle Preview Plan, which offered the privileges of being a Villager for a 4–7-day visit, complete with golf car and villa. Bradley called the number and booked the first available visit. Soon after arriving in The Villages, he knew this special place would be his next home.

Bradley returned to the Pacific Northwest, put his Boise home up for sale, and began the process of moving to The Villages. He bought a new home and was among the first residents in The Village of Moultrie Creek, located in the new Eastport area. The Villages has exceeded all expectations for Bradley, and is a dream come true.
