As a Villager, your social calendar will be filled to the brim with as many activities and events as you desire. With special events and programs offered year-round, opportunities to stay active and have fun with friends, family and neighbors are plentiful!

Enjoy the companionship of fellow Villagers with monthly social activities happening at recreation centers across our hometown. 

Workout on the Squares

Have some fun in the sun as you get moving on the Square with cardio drumming, Zumba, yoga, tai chi and more! 

Camp Villages

Year-round engaging activities for grandparents and grandkids to experience together, make new memories, meet new friends, and have fun together! 

S.T.A.R. Program

The Special Talented Adult Resident (S.T.A.R.) Program gives special needs adult Villagers living with their parents or caregivers the opportunity to discover new interests and make friends.

Learn something new or master of something familiar with unique courses designed to enrich the mind, body and spirit.

The Senior Games

Athletes of all skills levels are invited to compete with fellow Villagers and go for the gold!

Running of the Squares

Located within many of our Regional Recreation Centers, join for access to a wide variety of fitness equipment.

Through your monthly amenity fee, you’ll also have access to all of The Villages’ recreation, amenities and lifestyle our 55+ community offers.

  • Free golf on all of our executive courses*
  • Swimming, tennis, pickleball, bocce and many more facilities are all conveniently located throughout the community

  • Fishing lakes, waterfront parks and fitness trails
  • 24 hour community watch service
