Cheri Dasher was born and raised in Sumter County and has watched as her hometown transformed from cow pastures and melon fields to Florida’s friendliest retirement hometown also known as The Villages. The growth and development of The Villages has given Cheri opportunities that never would have been available if it were not for The Villages.

Cheri earned her bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Central Florida. After college she got married and settled in Wildwood, FL. She has been married to her husband Larry for over twenty years and they have four children and two grandchildren together. All of them have had the good fortune of attending The Villages Charter School. Many nights Cheri can be found on campus watching one of her kids participating in some type of school sport or activity. Spending time with family has always been her top priority.

Professionally Cheri has spent the last twenty years in The Villages building relationships and helping clients succeed financially in the banking industry. Helping people and collaborating with them to set personal financial goals and seeing them achieve those goals has always been the most rewarding part of her career. Naturally, she felt the transition into real estate would be the right move at the right time in her career. Her husband has been a builder for The Villages for over twenty years and she has watched as he has worked diligently every day to bring people’s lifelong dreams to fruition through each house he has built. What better way to continue working in the community she loves than by working side by side with people and helping to make their dreams come true.

Cheri’s strengths are earning people’s trust through listening and gaining a better understanding of what is most important to them. She looks forward to the opportunity of truly being a dream maker and making the lifestyle of The Villages become a reality.
